One of the very first things we did was to attend a Coarse on "The Internet"  where they were trying to sell web space in a "Virtual Shopping Mall ".  We purchased a 5 page spot not knowing any better. We spent way too much money and we never were able to use this service but it  taught us a little web design and some marketing techniques.

Keep your website running fast by keeping your pages down to around 30 to 35 kb . Do this by keeping your site simple with just a few images.   Keep your navigation simple and consistant.
